Breakthrough in Football Tourism

Athletico Bilbao fans descended on Manchester marking the busiest day ever at an English airport.

As Manchester City fans travelled out from Manchester Airport to watch the blues play in the Europa league, Athletico Bilbao fans arrived to watch their team face Manchester United.

It goes to show how much of a force football is in bringing a collective together. In football you get fans from all over the world travelling together and seeing things together, and just like on the football pitch you get different types of people brought face to face. Football is a mighty unifying force.

Of course, it also goes to show how much profit there is involved in the sport now, and many would argue this affects the game negatively. Let's just hope that the Olympics bring with it a return to the proper spirit of games, as well as the much needed money our country needs.

Here's a video of Athletico Bilbao fans descending on Manchester City Centre. They were a great set of fans- passionate and good fun. They drunk and sang all day and throughout the match:
